Golf Tip of the Week: Hitting Low through a Narrow Passageway

Hi everyone! The golf tip of the week this week is hitting your golf ball low through a narrow passageway like trees or other objects. The first thing you want to do is set up properly. If you don't aim right, the whole process could turn into a train wreck. The second thing you want to do is set up your golf ball back in your stance. What this does is make the ball lower since you will be topping it a little bit. If you put it far up in your stance it will go high. After that, you want to keep your eye on the ball and accelerate into it. If you do those things, the ball is going to be exactly where you want it. Thanks again for reading!

Y.E. Yang Defeats Tiger Woods in PGA Championship

This year, Y.E. Yang, the golfer from Korea, defeated Tiger Woods. Good for him. He was doing great this weekend. Tiger Woods had a 4-stroke lead early, but soon gave it up. The thing that really kept Yang's hopes up is the eagle on one of the later holes. Tiger had a chip that put him about 7-feet from the hole. I could see in Yang's face that he was determined to do better. He took a few practice swing, and he chips it."Very good chip, that's going to roll, ow wow!" says the commentator. Doink! It's in the hole for eagle. Yang celebrates, while Tiger has that oh-great expression on his face. He had to make the next putt to even have a chance at winning the major. I would love to be able to say that Tiger missed the putt, but he eats pressure for breakfast. Of course he sinks it. This was probably my favorite major this year. Y.E. Yang was the first Asian-born player to win a major. By the way he played today though, I think he has some top-tens coming in his future. Thanks again for reading!

Tiger Woods Wins the Bridgestone Invitational

Tiger Woods beat the Bridgestone Invitational for the 7th time this weekend. Heck, Tiger Woods is so good that I think I could of predicted this from the beginning. It was Sunday afternoon when the broadcaster called Woods "The Best Putter Ever." When I heard this, I really cracked up. Not only is he the best putter ever, he's the best driver and chipper ever. I saw his caddy, Steve Williams, telling Tiger where to hit it. I honestly was thinking, what does Tiger Woods not know about this course. He had won it 6 times. Just something to think about. Tiger Woods Wins Buick Open

Hi everyone! I just wanted to inform you that Tiger Woods won his 69th PGA tournament win at the Buick Open. You see, this guy would just not get bad. He was on a roll. Once he got his rhythm down, there was no stopping him. Winning by three strokes, I count that as a good win in my book. I think there is one problem though. Tiger Woods I think has a lot of tougher courses in his future. The Buick Open, I consider, a simple course for amazing players like him. One thing I like about Tiger is that he has a trait that many golfers do not have. This trait happens to be humbleness. If he stays like this, he'll be able to whip up another win for his stats.
