Y.E. Yang Defeats Tiger Woods in PGA Championship

This year, Y.E. Yang, the golfer from Korea, defeated Tiger Woods. Good for him. He was doing great this weekend. Tiger Woods had a 4-stroke lead early, but soon gave it up. The thing that really kept Yang's hopes up is the eagle on one of the later holes. Tiger had a chip that put him about 7-feet from the hole. I could see in Yang's face that he was determined to do better. He took a few practice swing, and he chips it."Very good chip, that's going to roll, ow wow!" says the commentator. Doink! It's in the hole for eagle. Yang celebrates, while Tiger has that oh-great expression on his face. He had to make the next putt to even have a chance at winning the major. I would love to be able to say that Tiger missed the putt, but he eats pressure for breakfast. Of course he sinks it. This was probably my favorite major this year. Y.E. Yang was the first Asian-born player to win a major. By the way he played today though, I think he has some top-tens coming in his future. Thanks again for reading!

  1. Nice article on the PGA. Tiger finally came in second. A good comparison with Jack Nicklaus is he won 18 majors to Tiger's 14 but he came in second NINETEEN times in majors. Keep up the good work. Ohio Roadrunner
